Hot Flux – Modern and Contemporary Photography in Taiwan and Africa, Tainan Art Museum

The exhibition held at the Tainan Art Museum introduces modern and contemporary photographic practice from renowned African and Taiwanese photographers, mapping links between African and Taiwanese photographic histories that are shaped by the development of techniques and the evolution of subject during modernization. The Hot Flux initiates a cross-continental dialogue by traversing over a dozen countries across two continents, tracing a dynamic conversation spanning nearly seven decades and featuring works by multiple acclaimed photographers.
