In staged portrait we meet the new age's young personalities in the urban culture of Africa. Designers, make-up artists, musicians, actors and creative divers. Each portrait is created in collaboration between the artist and the photographer.
Omar Victor Diop was born in 1980 in Dakar. He studied in Paris and then became a consultant in business life in his homeland Senegal, but received great attention for the series The Future of Beauty in 2011, and has since worked as a photographer.
