Twins Seven Seven





Born 1944 in Nigeria. Died in 2011. He was 67.

Prince Twins Seven Seven is one of the most well known artists from the Osogbo School of Nigeria. He began his painting career in the 60s. Traditional Yoruba mythology and culture had a strong influence on his work which features Yoruba gods, humans, animals and nature.

He was chosen UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2005.
