The Cité internationale de la langue française, which opened in November 2023 at the Château de Villers-Cotterêt in France, is a place of culture and life entirely dedicated to the French language in all its diversity, the languages of France and the cultures of the French-speaking world. A permanent tour will showcase the adventure of the French language, its spread throughout the world, its evolution in contact with other languages, its link to the political construction of the nation, its relationship with regional languages, and its constant reinvention. In this context, a selection of drawings by Ivorian artist Frédéric Bruly Bouabré are featured in the exhibition.
