AGUA is part of a cycle of itinerant contemporary art exhibitions curated by Adelina von Fürstenberg. After its avant-première in Geneva on World Water Day, 2017 March 22, AGUA opens in São Paulo on November 22, before continuing its path in other cities around the world.
The 23 participating artists, coming from Brazil and from other continents propose, through their artworks (installations, video installations, video projections, photographs, sculptures, drawings, paintings, including site specific productions and new productions) a reflection on water and its importance to human beings, fauna and flora, where water management is a major challenge and a priority objective of the 21st century.
