Né en 1981 au Zimbaboué, Kudzanai Chiurai est un jeune artiste de renommée internationale qui vit et travaille actuellement en Afrique du Sud. Il fut le premier noir diplômé des Beaux-arts de l'Université de Pretoria. Très talentueux, il est capable de s'exprimer à partir d'une palette multimédia diversifiée. Son commentaire idéologique direct ne manque pas d'humour. En s'attaquant à la politique, il évite les clichés de victimisation trop souvent associé avec l'art socialement aseptisé de certains artistes sud-africains.
